I admit it. \u00a0I’m a hypocrite.<\/p>\n
Last week I wrote about the importance of NOT constantly arguing online and logging off when you need to. \u00a0If you missed it (I was having publishing issues) you can read it here: \u00a0http:\/\/beckypalmer.thecomputerguy.bz\/2017\/01\/give-peace-a-chance-online\/<\/a><\/p>\n Excellent advise, right? \u00a0Too bad I didn’t follow it. \u00a0In spite of my best intentions I did indeed insert myself into a few more political arguments in the early part of last week. \u00a0I’m not proud of this. \u00a0On Wednesday I had a therapy session and we discussed this at length and agreed that I needed to take my own advise for the sake of my own mental health. \u00a0So, I walked out of that session determined to not get into any more political arguments online. \u00a0And, I’m proud to say, that I haven’t. \u00a0However……<\/p>\n Over the weekend I found myself getting into “discussions” on vaccines, cat declawing and the New England Patriots. \u00a0And they got me almost as riled up as the political ones.<\/p>\n SO, clearly I still have a long ways to go. \u00a0BUT, I still believe that if everyone does as I say, and if we forgive each other when we slip up, social media can be a more friendly place again. \u00a0I haven’t given up, and I sure hope you haven’t either.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" I admit it. \u00a0I’m a hypocrite.
