Today is me and my husband Pat’s 11th wedding anniversary.<\/p>\n
Since I am over the age of 14 I don’t believe in “soul mates”, but if I did i would have to say he and I are pretty close to that. \u00a0We almost never fight, and when we do it’s usually over and done with quickly. \u00a0We like most of the same foods and many of the same TV shows. \u00a0We both love cats. \u00a0We aren’t jealous or suspicious of each other. \u00a0 We make each other laugh all the time. \u00a0We respect each other.<\/p>\n
Even the things we don’t have in common complement each other. \u00a0He’s even-tempered, I’m all over the place. \u00a0He’s a planner, I fly by the seat of my pants. \u00a0He’s self-employed, I have a 9 to 5 job with the benefits. \u00a0He is punctual, I’m usually rushing around at the last minute. \u00a0He loves Elvis and old-time country music, I’m obsessed with Bon Jovi and love 80’s music. \u00a0He uses one half of one shelf in the shower, I fill up the rest.<\/p>\n
We had a long and twisted road to get to where we are today, but it was all worth it.<\/p>\n
