Today is Memorial Day. \u00a0Today is a day to honor those who gave their lives fighting for our country. \u00a0It’s not Veteran’s Day or Armed Services Day, but I digress……<\/p>\n
On this Memorial Day I find myself wondering what those men and women who died in the line of duty would think of the United States today. \u00a0We are more divided now than at any point since the Civil War, our standing among the first world nations is more precarious than ever, and our enemies becoming more emboldened by the day.<\/p>\n
Is this the legacy that our forefathers died for? \u00a0I say no. \u00a0I say we can, and should, do better. \u00a0 Those who died for our freedom deserve it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
