Thank you for not laughing too hard at the pity party I was having for myself last week. \u00a0I am feeling much better now. \u00a0To continue that theme I am counting a few of the perhaps more obscure of my many blessings. \u00a0I usually do this in November, but there is always, always something to be thankful for.<\/p>\n

Today I am thankful for the extremely short news cycle we experience here in the US. \u00a0Today my news feeds are full of stories about forest fires, fireworks photos, and whatever dumb thing Donald Trump said today. \u00a0WAY less drama than last week. \u00a0Yay.<\/p>\n

Today I am thankful for caffeine. \u00a0I will never be a morning person. They scare me.<\/p>\n

Today I am thankful that I am not a competitive person. \u00a0Those people must be exhausted all the time.<\/p>\n

Today I am thankful that the jar of peanuts was almost empty. \u00a0Portion control is not my strength.<\/p>\n

Today I am thankful that there isn’t a Pizza Ranch in the town I live in. \u00a0(See above).<\/p>\n

Today I am thankful that a few people stop by my little corner of the world to see what crazy things are percolating in my skull today.<\/p>\n
