{"id":2030,"date":"2018-09-05T10:30:40","date_gmt":"2018-09-05T15:30:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/beckypalmer.thecomputerguy.bz\/?p=2030"},"modified":"2018-09-03T15:22:44","modified_gmt":"2018-09-03T20:22:44","slug":"be-late-to-something-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/beckypalmer.me\/?p=2030","title":{"rendered":"Be Late to Something Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today is be late to something day, or as I call it, Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m one of those folks who&#8217;s always rushing in to an event at the last minute.\u00a0 It seems like no matter how well I prepare or how early I leave, the universe conspires against me to ensure I never arrive to anything too long before it starts.\u00a0 I once got to work 10 minutes early and almost gave several coworkers panic attacks.\u00a0 I promise you I don&#8217;t TRY to be like this- I just AM.<\/p>\n<p>However, some people are the exact opposite.\u00a0 I can only assume that today is intended for these folks.\u00a0 Those people who insist that &#8220;5 minutes early is late&#8221;.\u00a0 Those people who are more likely to suffer a heart attack as it&#8217;s been shown that putting pressure on yourself to maintain a strict schedule at all times is bad for your health.\u00a0 In other words- not me.<\/p>\n<p>However, if you find the very act of being late enough to send you into a cold sweat, take heart- tomorrow is Fight Procrastination Day- a day that maybe I&#8217;ll think about celebrating next year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today is be late to something day, or as I call it, Wednesday.
