Today is World Farm Animals Day.<\/p>\n
This day was created in memory of Ghandi, who preached that all animals should be treated humanely, even those destined for the dinner plate.<\/p>\n
Having grown up on a farm myself I couldn’t agree with him more. Well cared for animals will produce more milk, will grow faster, and will be overall more profitable than animals who aren’t.<\/p>\n
We live in a society where most folks are far removed from farming.\u00a0 Today is a great day to find out more about it of you are one of those people.\u00a0 It’s even a better day for those of us who do still have a connection to agriculture to clear up misconceptions and be advocates for that way of life.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
