This day was founded by Francis Pesek of Michigan.\u00a0 His family says he had a heart of gold and was always looking out for the folks in his neighborhood and just about anyone he came into contact with.\u00a0 \u00a0Today was his birthday, so the holiday was set here.<\/p>\n
We all know someone who’s home bound- be it due to illness, mobility issues, or something else.\u00a0 Chances are, they are lonely.\u00a0 Wouldn’t today be a great time to give them a call or stop by for a chat?\u00a0 If you don’t know them that well you could also mail them a card- when is the last time you got a card just because?\u00a0 Didn’t it make your day?\u00a0 It would make her day too.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
