People ask me if I enjoy writing my blog, and I do.\u00a0 I don’t make money- in fact I PAY money for the privilege by way of my hosting charges,\u00a0 custom domain, spam protection and a few other incidentals.<\/p>\n
That’s not to say that it’s all rainbows and unicorns.\u00a0 More Sunday afternoons than I care to admit I stare at a blank page and wonder why I even bother.<\/p>\n
But then, come a random weekday, someone I never expected tells me they read something I posted and (usually) that they enjoyed it.\u00a0 And that makes my heart swell with pride and makes it all worth it.<\/p>\n
However, this has been a particularly challenging week for my mental health.\u00a0 Nothing awful happened personally, but people around me had challenges, work was more stressful than normal, and overall I just didn’t have the best mental health week.\u00a0 I’m pretty wiped out right now, so I’m simply going to thank you- yes YOU- for reading my musings and random thoughts.\u00a0 I appreciate you more than you will ever know.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
