We can all agree 2020 has been a dumpster fire of epic proportions, but the good news is that there are only 2 1\/2 months left in it.\u00a0 And, we are getting into my favorite season- autumn!<\/p>\n
Why do I love fall\/ autumn so much?\u00a0 Let me count the ways!<\/p>\n
#10 It’s the only season that has 2 names.\u00a0 Is it fall? Is it autumn?\u00a0 The answer is yes!<\/p>\n
#9 Halloween candy!\u00a0 While I’m not really into Halloween itself, I’m all about candy on sale.<\/p>\n
#8 Lots of opportunities to show off my 3 black cats on social media.<\/p>\n
#7 Lots of varieties of fresh apples in stores.<\/p>\n
#6\u00a0 The leaves.\u00a0 The colors.\u00a0 The crunch under your feet.\u00a0 Jumping into a big ol’ pile of them.\u00a0 They even smell good.<\/p>\n
#5 You can go much longer without shaving your legs- and even higher if you spend a lot of time in swimwear during the summer.<\/p>\n
#4\u00a0 Rediscovering all your great sweaters you packed away last spring.\u00a0 I always find at least one I forgot I had!<\/p>\n
#3 Cooler temps.\u00a0 I know many folks think this is a bad thing about fall, I disagree.\u00a0 Being able to go outside without melting is a good thing!<\/p>\n
#2 The end of daylight saving time.\u00a0 An extra hour of sleep is always welcome in my world.\u00a0 I wish we didn’t do it at all, but at least I get this bonus hour in the fall.<\/p>\n
#1 FOOTBALL!!!!!!\u00a0 My love of football is well documented, up to and including last week’s post. There is nothing like a lazy Sunday spent watching football, possible in jammies.\u00a0 It’s just about perfect.<\/p>\n
