As you may or may not be aware, the Q faithful were waiting for Trump to be “reinstated” as President on Friday August 13th.\u00a0 This is at least the 6th date that I’m aware of that has been set for this event, and just like all the previous ones, it passed without a change of White House occupancy.\u00a0 I hear that the next date has already been set for later this month.<\/p>\n
I know a few people who are deep into this nonsense.\u00a0 These are people I always thought were reasonably intelligent- even very intelligent in some cases!\u00a0 I have tried to understand the thought process by asking a few questions, but have only been met with ridicule and hate for daring to suggest that anything they believe is less than the gospel truth.\u00a0 I even tried to connect with one person in particular by referencing past discussions we’ve had about tough subjects that were intelligent and civil.\u00a0 That only seemed to make him more angry.<\/p>\n
And yes, for the record, I was nice when asking the questions.\u00a0 Some of you know I can get pretty snarky online, but honest to God in these cases I was treading VERY lightly because I truly wanted to understand their point of view.\u00a0 But, because I didn’t embrace it wholeheartedly without any reservation I was called all kinds of name.\u00a0 Some just silly, but some pretty insulting.\u00a0 I’ve been blocked by 2 people that I know of, one I had been friends with since middle school.\u00a0 That one hurt.<\/p>\n
What I find curious is how do people keep believing this when time after time they are let down?\u00a0 I know the number of Q faithful has dropped significantly in the last 6 months, but there are still way too many people caught up in it.\u00a0 What is it going to take for these folks to come to the realization that they’ve been conned?<\/p>\n
It’s hard for anyone to admit they are wrong.\u00a0 And I’m sure the longer you are in the cult of Q the harder it is to get out.\u00a0 But I just can’t understand how someone can continue to blindly believe in the face of such overwhelming evidence to the contrary.<\/p>\n
