My sinuses\/ allergies are kicking my butt right now.\u00a0 I’m loopy on cold meds, my throat hurts, and my eyes itch.<\/p>\n
So, today I’m not going to pontificate a long time, but instead brag about my awesome nephew Luke.\u00a0 He is a senior in high school this year!\u00a0 He gets good grades.\u00a0 He makes friends easily and is great with small children and even babies.\u00a0 He is a very good looking kid.\u00a0 He stays out of trouble.\u00a0 He is the lead trumpet of the Waseca Marching Jays.<\/p>\n
The Marching Jays are collecting hardware all over Minnesota this fall.\u00a0 And I could not be more of a proud auntie.\u00a0 The photo attached to this blog shows a brass feature group that performs about the midpoint of the show.\u00a0 And yes, Luke IS the trumpet player at the very top of the stairs.\u00a0 \u00a0 A very handsome looking soloist indeed!<\/p>\n
