It’s been said since the dawn of time that men are simple and women are complicated.<\/p>\n
But that’s really not true.\u00a0 Women aren’t complicated, men just aren’t very good at listening to them.\u00a0 Let me break it down for you.<\/p>\n
#1 Women want full body autonomy.\u00a0 We want to be able to make our own decisions about our own bodies, with the help of our doctors when needed.\u00a0 We don’t want anyone else- male OR female- to tell us what medications we can take or what medical procedures we can have.\u00a0 We don’t want to be told who to have sex with or how often we should have it.\u00a0 And we certainly don’t want to be told whether or not we should have children.<\/p>\n
#2 Women want to be treated as equals.\u00a0 Equal pay for equal work.\u00a0 Equal voices at the table and in the board room.\u00a0 Dress codes that don’t target us and\/ or sexualize us.\u00a0 We want crimes against us to be prosecuted based on the facts of the case, and not victim shaming us.\u00a0 We want to be able to dress as we want without judgement.\u00a0 \u00a0We want to pursue the hobbies and interests that really interest us, and not be told stupid shit like “girls don’t like football”.<\/p>\n
#3 Women want clothing with functional pockets.\u00a0 The reason we take our purses everywhere is that half our pants\/ skirts don’t have pockets at all, and half the ones that DO have pockets that are so small and\/ or poorly designed they are essentially worthless.<\/p>\n
