My husband is a big autograph collector.\u00a0 He enjoys getting autographs from sports figures, actors, musicians, etc.\u00a0 \u00a0It can be a pricy hobby, but so is just about any hobby if you do it right.<\/p>\n
I don’t love the thrill of the hunt the same way he does, but I do enjoy meeting people whose work I enjoy and \/ or admire.\u00a0 In 2021 I got to meet Adam Savage from Mythbusters.\u00a0 I’ve met several members of the cast of Star Wars- both original series and Next Generation.\u00a0 \u00a0By the time you are reading this I will have met someone else on my bucket list- actor\/ director Kevin Smith.<\/p>\n
And yes, I am well aware that my list is nerdy.\u00a0 \u00a0I don’t care.\u00a0 I like what I like.<\/p>\n
But even more than that, I like that this hobby of my husband’s has turned into something we can enjoy together.\u00a0 \u00a0We might not wind up getting any of the same lines at the show, but we can get excited to go together, compare our hauls together, and enjoy the fantastic people watching together.\u00a0 If the show is a larger one there’s a hotel stay involved too (wink wink).<\/p>\n
