Yes, I’ve mentioned this one before\u00a0https:\/\/beckypalmer.me\/?p=1629<\/a> but it bears repeating.\u00a0 Today is don’t make your bed day.<\/p>\n

There are quite a few reasons not to make your bed every day.\u00a0 To me the most obvious is that it’s a complete waste of time.\u00a0 I didn’t spend a lot of money on decorative pillows I feel a need to display.\u00a0 I am not on a reality TV show so no one other than my husband and my cats are going to see my bedroom (which is good because it’s a mess).\u00a0 \u00a0My husband and I have different schedules, so many days he is still IN the bed when I’m leaving for the day, which would make it difficult for me and super annoying for him for me to make the bed.<\/p>\n

But it turns out that it’s not just me who think making your bed it a bad idea.\u00a0 Dust mites LOVE the coziness of a made bed.\u00a0 All the warmth and moisture left over from your night in bed get trapped under the blankets and creates the perfect breeding conditions for those little critters!\u00a0 So if you have allergies, you are doing yourself a HUGE favor by not making your bed!<\/p>\n

Hopefully I have convinced you this time- if I didn’t last time- to leave your bed unmade.\u00a0 There are SO many better uses of your time in the morning!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
