If you are reading this you know I’m a huge Miami Dolphins fan.\u00a0 If you didn’t know it before you knew it because you read my rant about my fellow fans I posted a couple months ago\u00a0 https:\/\/beckypalmer.me\/?p=475<\/a><\/p>\n

As you may or may not know, the last month of the season was pretty stressful for us Dolfans.\u00a0 The team caught the injury bug BAD and we lost a couple games in embarrassing fashion.\u00a0 But we still managed to make the playoffs.\u00a0 Barely.<\/p>\n

Then the playoff game happened.\u00a0 In Kansas City.\u00a0 Yes, Taylor Swift was there.\u00a0 It was -4F at kick off.\u00a0 Beer froze.\u00a0 Equipment shattered.\u00a0 Mustaches froze (yes really).<\/p>\n

To put it mildly, the game did not go well for Miami.\u00a0 I know all teams are hurt this time of year, but were without 6 out of 11 of our defensive starters, 3 out of 11 of our offensive starters, and had several other players that were game time decisions due to injuries.\u00a0 It is virtually impossible to win when you are that hamstrung by injuries.\u00a0 \u00a0But it still sucked to watch.<\/p>\n

But this was still the best season we’ve had in ages.\u00a0 We went 11 and 6.\u00a0 When our offence was on, it was ON.\u00a0 Tyreek Hill set the single season yardage for the Dolphins and had 6th all time highest yards in a season all time, and he didn’t even play in 1 and a half games.\u00a0 Couch McDaniel has reinvigorated Tua’s career, made Miami a contender, and is crazy smart (he went to Yale).\u00a0 There is no reason to believe we can’t be even better next year.<\/p>\n

So you best be believing I’m still a fan.<\/p>\n
