Today is National Ag day!<\/p>\n
As many of you know, I grew up on a small dairy farm.\u00a0 Many of my friends growing up lived on farms too.\u00a0 It was a great way to grow up.\u00a0 I learned about hard work.\u00a0 I learned about taking care of God’s creatures.\u00a0 \u00a0I learned about the circle of life.\u00a0 I learned about the weather -although not as much as I could have- I should have paid more attention to my grandfather \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n
Today many people don’t even KNOW a farmer, let alone are related to any!\u00a0 So today we celebrate Ag.\u00a0 We celebrate where our food comes from.\u00a0 We celebrate those hardworking men and women who work in this industry.\u00a0 We celebrate 4H and the FFA.\u00a0 We celebrate previous generations of farmers and encourage future generations.\u00a0 Because no matter how divided we are on anything else, one thing everyone has in common is that we all need to eat.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
