If there is a holiday we need in 2025 it’s this.\u00a0 It’s Weed Out Hate day.<\/p>\n
This is a new holiday first introduced in 2010 in Iowa of all places!\u00a0 It encouraged kids to get out and help pull weeds as a metaphor for removing hatred in their minds and hearts and it was created by Marc Daniels to honor both his grandfather who loved gardening and his hero Abraham Lincoln.<\/p>\n
If you have a green thumb you can certainly go do some of that today- ideally while thinking about love for your fellow man.\u00a0 But if you have a black thumb like me you can still participate by looking inward and finding ways to be more open and caring going forward.\u00a0 The world needs more of this right now.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
