Why is this hard for my family?\u00a0 Because I come from a long line of pack rats.\u00a0 They save everything.\u00a0 And I’m not entirely immune.\u00a0 Until recently I still had a box of college textbooks in my basement.\u00a0 No, I don’t know why.<\/p>\n
I recently took several bags of clothing and a few boxes of kitchenware\/ dishes to a local thrift store that is run entirely by volunteers.\u00a0 They donate their proceeds to local charities and non-profits.\u00a0 The vibe was very different than at a Goodwill or other large organization shop in the best way possible.\u00a0 I actually felt the folks working intake were happy to accept your items.<\/p>\n
