It may feel like every day of the past 2 years has been this, but today is in fact National Panic Day.
And there is certainly plenty to panic about. COVID is still alive and kicking. Russia invaded Ukraine. There are still supply chain issues impacting many industries. And I’m sure you can think of many more- I know I can.
Worrying your life away isn’t a great idea. But there is plenty of evidence that having a short, timed worry session can really help improve your overall mental health. So, today, you have permission to set a timer for 5 or 10 minutes and panic. Just let lose. Don’t leave anything bottled up.
And then, after that, I bet you will feel a LOT better. Or not. THEN panic.
