World Music Day

Is there anything more special and worthy of celebrating than music?

Today is World Music Day.  It was started in France and quickly spread, first through Europe and then to all corners of the globe. but it is still most commonly celebrated in Europe with free concerts and festivals.  I think we need to get on this America!!

I took piano lessons for 10 years.  I’ve played the clarinet since 4th grade and play with 2 community bands currently.  I’m more than a little obsessed with one Jon Bon Jovi.  Music is a pretty big deal to me!  And really- have you ever met anyone who doesn’t like music?

So celebrate along with me today!  Crank up for your favorite tunes during your commute.  Sing in the shower.  Sing to your pets.  Do whatever, musically, makes you happy today!
