Subscription to Happiness

I hate shopping.  I blame that mostly on my stint in retail in my 20’s.  I loved catalog shopping back in the day and now I love online shopping.   But one of the downfalls of either is that you never truly know 100% what you are getting.

Enter subscription shopping services.  I avoided them for a while because they seemed too expensive or too complicated.  But I finally took the plunge and now I’m a believer.

The two services that I use are Dia and Co and ipsy.  Most folks are familiar with ipsy- they are a skincare and makeup company.  I’m trying to learn how to use makeup as a grown up and I’ve found some things I really like, and my 6 year old niece is the lucky recipient of some of the makeup that doesn’t work for me.   Dia and Co. is a plus sized clothing subscription service carrying sizes 12 to 32.  Every one or two months (your choice) you get 5 items hand selected for you based on your preferences for colors, price points, etc. as well as your feedback on previous boxes.   I’ve never kept an entire box worth (you get a discount if you do) but the pieces I have kept have become favorites and ones that I get tons of compliments on.

I should point out now that I am NOT getting paid for promoting either of these companies.  I am simply sharing companies that I love, and I’m asking for more suggestions of ones I might not know about.

So I’m asking for your help.  Let me know what else I should subscribe to!
