As I’m sure you are well aware, this Wednesday is Valentine’s Day. While there are a few folks who refuse to celebrate it because it’s “too commercial”, most people in relationships do observe it in one way or another.
If you’ve been a reader of mine for any length of time you know full well that I am all about celebrating love in all its forms. Celebrate your spouse, celebrate your boyfriend/ girlfriend, celebrate anyone you love!
I’m certainly not going to reverse course on that now, but I do have a caveat to add. Sometime between now and the 14th please take a moment to reach out to someone whose love life isn’t anything to celebrate right now. Unfortunately, we all have a friend or family member who is going through a divorce or a bad break up. We all know someone who is lonely. What better time of year to let that person know how important they are to you?
So have a heart and share your love. After all, what better time of year to do it?
