Today is International Cat Day!
This day requires little explanation- today is a day for celebrating kitties! Cats are the most popular pet in the world. The sound of a cat’s purr has been shown to reduce stress in humans AND felines. If that isn’t a reason to love them over dogs I don’t know what is (no offence dog people).
If you don’t currently have a pet, your local shelters are full of cats of all ages looking for good homes- I encourage you to go find a new friend today. If you do already have a cat be sure to give him or her extra love tonight- I’ll be doing the same!
