This day was created in 2009 in response to “Kick A Ginger Day” that was created a few years earlier based on an episode of South Park. Insert your own joke here.
Red hair is very rare- only 1% to 2% of the population are natural red heads. As long as red headed folks exist red hair will NOT go extinct- that’s just an urban legend. And yes, folks with red hair do in fact have the same souls as any of the rest of us 🙂
So remember, please KISS, do not KICK a ginger today. They do bruise easily 😉
