Typically I choose holidays to highlight that I want to celebrate myself. Today is an exception. Today is watermelon day. And I hate watermelon.
I know this is crazy talk to a lot of people. Most people like watermelon. My nephew LOVES it. But I don’t. It smells OK, but it feels weird against my teeth when I bite into it. And I don’t like watermelon flavored anything either. Just keep it away from me.
So, you go ahead and celebrate Watermelon Day knowing that you don’t have to worry about me taking your portion 🙂
