The rationale behind No Housework Day to remind everyone to take a day off from the busywork of running a household and to enjoy your family in a less than sparkling home because that’s what’s really important. That is lovely, don’t you think?
I will admit, I’m cheating a tiny bit- No Housework Day is actually tomorrow, Thursday the 7th. However, by telling you this now you can revel in its glory for a full 24 hours instead of the few short hours that would be left if I told you at 6pm.
