I’m not a fan of New Years resolutions. Even less so for my blog than for myself.
There are a few things that have always been true for my blog and will always be true:
#1 I will never try to sell you anything. I am not going to put ads on my blog. I am not going to accept money in exchange for my opinion on food, hotels, tourist traps, or anything else. I have zero desire to exchange my integrity for money.
#2 I will not lie to you. I will tell you the truth about whatever is on my mind. I used to be worried about offending people. But I’m over that now in this space. Half of what I do here is self-therapy anyway. I’m working out my own anger or confusion or whatever is going on inside my screwed up head.
#3 I will keep this up for as long as it make sense to me. I enjoy this creative release and have no plans to quit any time soon.
That’s as close to New Years resolutions as you are going to get for me. Best wishes for 2024 to everyone!
