Today we celebrate National Radio Day!
While most “radio” we listen to today is digital, good old analog radio is still alive and kicking. Local radio station is still a significant source of news and information to the community, especially in smaller communities.
Radio waves are used for many other things too. A few examples are analog TV, air traffic control, and mobile phones. So the technology is still very relevant in today’s world and will continue to be for many years to come.
How to celebrate? Make a call with your cellphone or check out your local radio station!
