Let’s Celebrate!

I talked quite a bit about politics before the election.  And I’m probably going to talk about them again quite a bit after the holidays.

But I have decided that I’m not going to bring everyone down during the month of December with gloom and doom.  This is the month of of holidays, celebration, and cheer.  This is the month of charity and kindness.  This is the month of love for your fellow man.

So please celebrate along with me this month.  Count your blessings.  Tell the people you love how much you love them.  Hug your dog.  Donate and/ or volunteer for a cause that is meaningful for you.  Whether you celebrate Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, the day of Bodhi, the winter solstice, Zarathosht Diso, New Years Day, or any combination of these, let’s really celebrate this year.

And don’t forget to celebrate the personal stuff.  There have been a ton of engagements recently- you probably know someone who’s getting ready to tie the knot.  Maybe someone you know just got started a new relationship or had a baby or adopted a pet or bought a house.  There is always something to celebrate, and we all need reasons to celebrate as we say farewell to 2024.
