Erika-

What are you doing?

You’ve been on a 4 month media tour telling everyone that you are “carrying on Charlie’s mission” even though his message was that women should be at home at all times (and that white guys should be in charge of everything, but I digress).   You are the CEO of Turning Point, his organization.  You’re a real estate agent with the Corcoran group (yes, of Barbara Corcoran of Shark Tank fame) with a real estate license in New York City of all places.  No one has seen or heard from your kids- I don’t know if you have either- again in direct conflict with your husband’s (now your) message that raising children is supposed to be the highest calling a woman can have.

And don’t even get me started on Charlie’s memorial service.  You strutted on stage like the former pageant winner you are.  You looked almost happy to be there.   It was one of the most creepy things we’ve seen in some time.

The most common thought is that you simply don’t understand how much of a hypocrite you look like going on this media blitz.  But I think you are smarter than that.  I’ve come up with a couple reasons why you might be acting like this.

#1 You need the money.  Sure, Turning Point takes in a lot of money, but maybe your family/ organization was burning it faster.  I’ve read that folks have been leaving en masse sense you became CEO- perhaps because they realize the hypocrisy in you being the CEO too.

#2 Someone is forcing you into this.  I don’t know if it’s the NRC, someone within the Trump Organization, or someone else, but whoever they are, they have a lot of power.  I hope the power is just political and no one is holding your kids hostage or anything like that.

#3 You knew Charlie was full of shit all along.  Maybe the two of you even laughed together at the fools spending money to listen to his craptastic advice.  You never believed in his message, but it makes you rich so you keep peddling it.  I really hope this is it.

Regardless of why are you doing this why don’t you stop?  Why don’t you just go home and spend time with your kids?  They lost their father and really need their mother with them right now- not just seeing her on TV.
