Today is the day that the National Popcorn board decided to make National Popcorn Day.
I’m sure that you, like myself, had no idea there was such a thing as the National Popcorn Board until just now. But they are a real thing and you can go check them out yourself at popcorn.org if you are so inclined. Their stated missions is to increase awareness of popcorn, and given that I don’t know anyone who isn’t aware of it I’d say they are doing a darn good job.
I believe it is quite obvious how best to celebrate this important occasion. So, no matter if you use a frying pan, electric popper or the microwave to prepare it, go enjoy some of this high fiber, low cost snack today!
