Much has been made of the recent FBI search of Donald Trump’s home in Florida, Mar a Lago. Depending on who you listen to this was either long overdue or a travesty.
The people who are angry about this need to explain to me why. If he’s innocent, what is there to be worried about? If he’s done nothing wrong, that will come to light, right?
Here’s my theory- most of the people who are still supporting Trump know where there’s smoke there’s fire. They aren’t upset because he’s being persecuted without cause, but because they know there IS cause and they don’t want to admit they have been backing the wrong horse all this time. It’s hard to admit you were wrong, especially when you’ve been SO confident and SO critical of anyone who disagrees with you. The very fact that Trump plead the 5th immediately should be enough to convince all but the most intentionally clueless that everything is not on the up and up. Innocent people do not plead the 5th. Period.
I am aware there are some folks who are so far down the Q rabbit hole there’s just no reasoning with them. And the number of people still in the cult is a lot higher than I think.
But if you are one of the folks who is still supporting Trump after all the time please tell me why. I’m interested in hearing your views presented in a civilized, respectful manner. Name calling and insults will not be tolerated. I look forward to hearing from you.
