Why is there a day for those dumb little paper stickers we all hate at meetings and reunions?
It’s not REALLY about the tag, but rather the name itself. As more and more of our lives are in the cloud, we become less and less connected to the people right in front of us. Many of us don’t know the names of some of- or even any of – our own neighbors.
If you really want to bust out a sticker with your name on it today, you go right ahead. But the spirit of the day is connection. Make a new connection today. Introduce yourself to that neighbor or coworker you see once in a while. Your heart will thank you.
