Today is Dear Diary Day.
Today is devoted to encouraging everything to taking up writing/ journalling.
I have journalled on and off since high school and I can vouch for the therapeutic benefits of it. Getting your thoughts down on paper helps corral them. Helps you get perspective. Allows you to see them from a different way. I have been reaping the benefits of this simple activity for decades and I cannot recommend it enough. I don’t know all the science behind why it works, I just know it does.
If you’ve never given it a try, today is a great day to start. If you haven’t in years, today is a great day to get back to it.
