This is too important for me to get cutesy about. You need to go vote if you have not done so already. No matter where you stand on the issues, it’s up to you to make your voice heard and cast your vote for leaders you believe share your vision for the future of our country.
If you have already voted – way to go!!
If you haven’t, please go vote on Tuesday the 6th. There is no excuse not to exercise your privilege to do so. If you don’t know where to vote you can simply Google it, or you can go to a site such as Rock The Vote to find your polling place. Most states are required by law to give you time off to vote if your work schedule conflicts with polling hours in your precinct. Not sure if you are registered to vote? 16 states- including Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin- have same day voter registration available at all polling places.
We tend to take our rights and freedoms for granted, but there are millions of people all over the world who don’t have the right and privilege of voting in free elections. Why would you squander your chance to have a say in the future of our country?
You’d have to be an idiot to do that. Don’t be an idiot.
