Yes, this is a real thing. And there are two ways to approach / celebrate Walk Around Things Day.
The first is obvious. Walk around things. Walk around your office chair, the trash can, your car (while it’s park of course), anything in front of you. You may get a few weird looks, but hey- your Fitbit will thank you for the extra steps.
The second is mental instead of physical. Avoid that argument by agreeing to disagree or redirecting the conversation. Make a concerted effort to consider different angles/ positions on a problem you’re struggling with.
Regardless of how you choose to celebrate, you’ll be better for it!
